Stigma
Profoundly moved by the illness ofher friend, Fadia, and familiar with her message of peace and tolerance, addressed to those negatively affected by the three monotheistic religions, Mouna Rebeiz could not help but integrate their emblems in Stigma. Their meanings have been twisted and distorted to the extent that they are eating away at humanity… What could be more eloquent than to place these emblems like a burden on Fadia’s shoulders, (and not on the chest in the manner of the high priests of the three religions); here they are stigmata that deeply brand her flesh. Wounds that never heal.
